Hello, everyone. As you may be able to tell from these pictures, we did a bit of traveling last week. Maybe you can guess where we went, too. I had thought I might be able to post while we were gone, but I barely had a spare second. I hardly pulled out my knitting a single time- does that give you an idea of how busy our days were? Instead of pulling out the knitting, I pulled out the camera and took hundreds of photos. It was so much fun. I've never had so much fun taking pictures. London and Paris provided the most perfect settings for photos.
I will try to put up some posts this week of our travels, but I'm not sure how ambitious I will be with going through everything. So many pictures to edit, and I hate doing it on my laptop. So we will see just how much detail I go into on here. As we ended this wonderful trip, something I've always dreamed of being able to do with my children, I kept forgetting that we were not going to be returning home yet, but rather we would be going back to Denmark for close to two more months. I felt homesick flying "home," but not really home this weekend. Well, home or not, nothing beats the feeling of returning from busy, crowded excursions to a cozy house where you make a pot of tea, refill the pantry and refrigerator (I'm getting the hang of grocery shopping in Denmark), bathe the little ones, unpack and throw on some laundry. Clean clothes, clean children, sort of clean house- that makes it a home no matter where you are in the world. Oh, yeah...and lots of people to love. That's a given.
