How about a little knitting content? This pattern has an interesting name: Japan Sleeves. Joji Locatelli has created some winners, no doubt about it. Equally fun to knit and wear, which not everything fits in both categories. This cowl. This pullover, this cardigan. Incidentally, I wear the cardigan All. The. Time. It is so classic and unique and easy to throw on. Overall, sport weight or lighter knitwear gets the most use among all of us.
But do you see those stripes? Aren't they just stunning? And cozy, and soft? Tosh Merino light used to be my favorite yarn, but this is plucky single, which is a super similar yarn but it includes 20% silk and I've decided it is superior. It has a great sheen and seems to pill less, and who can argue with Plucky's color range? Stunning, to say the least. These two grays are perfect. The darker gray has a slight blueish and sometimes purplish hue in certain lights, which makes it just a little more interesting, and perfect to wear with blue jeans, which, considering I wear them 99.9999% of the time, works out great.
Anything striped knits up twice as fast, at least. It's a law of physics, I'm pretty sure. Surely anyone who has striped something they've knit will concur.
P.S. Like my new blog design? Still tweaking it. But I love the colors! So bright and cheery!
