There we go- captured on camera, Clementine smiles! It must be because she loves her Auntie so much, as her t shirt says. She does have a wonderful Auntie, who gave her the shirt. Said Auntie is getting a birthday party thrown for her Saturday and it's going to be so much fun: a British themed tea party. Because my sister and I are both, well, Anglophiles. The more royalty around here the better, I say. We woke up together at four in the morning and watched the royal wedding, and texted each other like mad when Kate was in labor with HRH Prince George. The London Olympics warranted an opening ceremonies party with British food, and now that a new royal baby is on the way, it was excuse enough for us to have a tea party in celebration. Now I need to go on pinterest and sort through the zillion tea party recipes and make a shopping list.
Yes, my post yesterday inspired me to put the sleeve back onto the needles and I'm just working on this until inspiration strikes me for my next project. And the vest you see at the bottom, well I knit that over a year ago. It is an Alice Starmore pattern and oh my word those are the best stranded knitting projects ever. Really, ever. The yarn and the colors are such a delight. Yes, a delight, hopefully that word isn't overkill to describe a knitting project. Since I haven't been knitting much I figured I could take some pictures of finished knitting projects I've done in the past, you know? I'll try to get the project up on ravelry later today.
Okay, gotta go!
